This really is a great resource for developers out there and the artwork seems to mostly be of high quality. Was just curious how often the artwork is actually used in quality games?

It's hard to say, really.
One of the things I'm planning to add is a way for people to list their game on an art page when they use a particular piece of art, so we can see where all it's being used.
Fair enough, and that sounds like a great idea. Meant it more in the context that it would be a shame if some of what is on here got left on the shelfs so to speak
But definately could see linking the art to completed games as a benefit. Either way, this site is great though surprised it took so long to find....
not sure why it was hard to find. type game art in google and its the top site listed. if you were looking for game art i would think that is what you would search for
