very Dark and Spooky. But there's a bit of wonder in the melodic percussion(?). It would be great to have in the background of a game of mothership.

Thanks! I hope it's used for something like that. :)

The melodic percussive element is made from sampling a grand piano, running it through a tape warble, then a flanger. The other percussive sounds are made using a virtual drum machine (Microtonic by Sonic Charge) then ran through various distortions and filters.
