Procedural Date Palm Tree
Preview:
A semi-procedural Date Palm Tree made with Blender.
Currently, the shape/height of the trunk can be controlled via a Bézier Curve. Same holds true for the branches. A work in progress, so keep an eye out for updates.
Important:
- Requires Blender 3.3 to work properly,
- The tree currently cannot be exported as a mesh,
- Smaller Trees do not look as realistic (yet),
- Camera in Blend File and Preview Render in Architectual Isometric Perspective (45°, 54.7° instead of 45°, 60°).
Changes:
- improved visuals of leaves at the end of the branches,
- added detail to bulge/branch emission area
