Today I am beginning my journey into Pixel Art. I gave you a basic, beginners blob, but I think he looks kind of nice!

A few helpful hints:
It suffers from pillow shading. Use less colours and spread the sections out.
Selective outlines are another option using darker colours according to the light source (top right in this case). Black outlines are also good for a certain style though :)

I would recommend Aseprite for pixel art creation. Photoshop is painful for that.
