A set of platformer tiles from Surt. I'm sure he could provide better commentary, but yeah. See this thread here:

This includes a bunch of painted assets of various sorts. Some are concept works, others are essentially finished assets. This includes a set of isometric as well as side-view works.
There are some other, related works but I've broken them up a bit by topic. All of Surt's PD works are collected here:

None of this was meant to be anything but rough concepts, hence the inclusion of the background pattern. If people did want to use them as is in-game (really, they shouldn't) then I could upload the OpenRaster files for full resolution and allow removal of the background patterns, though they are pretty hefty size-wise.
The "eyesore.png" is exactly the style I want in my current game project. Judging from your comment I suppose there ain't much chance of you animating them or making them game ready?
I like the work in the "painted" or cartoon looking stuff. Would be good for wall deco, paintings, etc.
