What tools are needed for Game Design?
I've played video games ever since I could remember, so now I think instead of playing games based on ideas other people collaborated on, why not create some based off my ideas? I have had experience with almost all of the Word/Adobe programs and I've animated my own short movies. All I really need are the programs.
Links of the programs would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
And one off topic question. I am using excel 2013. I am importing data from a website. In a cell the data is being updated every 1 minute. (Let`s call it primary cell)
I am copying the primary data in another cell but I want to keep the primary data in the first cell and not updated. Once the primary cell is updated I need in the second cell and so on and so forth for the next 14 cells. Once it reaches the 14 th cell I need to replace the first cell with the second cell and so on and so forth with all the 14 cells.
Is Data Web scraping possible with excel 2013? Or it's better to use software like this https://mydataprovider.com/
That's a very broad question. There are many kinds of games out there, and all sorts of tools for making them. What do you have in mind? And what skills do you have? Based on your question, I assume you're looking for something non-technical.
Also, I'm assuming by game design you mean actually making games, because for design work nothing beats quad paper.
I've made a list of free software and resources you might find useful:-
