Wide range of sprites required for App startup

Hi all,

We are a technology startup called based in Glasgow, Scotland. Our new app, called Zap, will be released in the next few weeks. It makes creating games and interactive content incredibly simple. Just picking a template, or an existing game or app, and tweak it using our amazingly simple interface, and you’ve created your own personalised game. It will run on pretty much any computer, tablet or smartphone, and best of all you can share your content straight to Facebook, Twitter and the web.

This is where we would very much like to work with anyone willing to share their art from OpenGameArt.org with the casual gaming community, using your game assets as a free set of sprites for users to make their own games. We have been seeking talented and enthusiastic sprite artists, and will be selecting the best contributors to help us with user testing, and to offer as part of our initial round of content when the app is released. You retain copyright over your art, and will get a credit in everything created using your assets. Eventually, anyone will be able to upload their own artwork to the platform. Our aim is to reach millions of users, and to possibly introduce revenue sharing with our leading content creators for future paid content.

We would very much like to talk further with you about what we can do to make Zap the go-to place for graphics artists to feature their open source art, alongside Open Game Art, on mobiles and devices worldwide.

If you have any more questions please don't be afraid to get in touch with me both here or at cameron@zapcoder.com

Thanks for reading,
