It's a small internet!

Your project sounds interesting (something a bit like the Trek game I always wanted to play but never could), but at least for the purpose of this site linking it so directly and explicitly to Star Trek is going to be problematic due to copyright reasons...

Actually Paramount is playing Nice as long as: 1 you credit them properly. 2. It falls in the fan fiction range i.e. NON commercial.

They even approved and helped with fan made series.

Paramount IS credited in the source headers and willen be credited on a credits page, as wil anyone who participates

"Playing nice", thats not considerable true, what they have done have set a few restrictions which 'fan film makers' must obide to or those that don't will be pursued for copyright infringement.

There is no restriction for a video game that has been set as i know of, so that could mean it is not allowed?

although they are kind of the same thing as a media, but there are differences.

i would be cautious with this project, but wish you luck with it. :)

Beam me up!
