This website needs to be fixed

Hi,
The current experience for me is very frustrating. Because my keyboard add non ascii characters I get often a blank page when I_try to reply. I'm forced to copy paste from this website:_https://pteo.paranoiaworks.mobi/diacriticsremover/ to remove non ascii characters.
What is worst the error page does not give any information to the user regarding what should be done to fix it. Yes the website is old and clunky but please could anyone fix this and just add the php code to sanitize the input / properly handle non ascii character. Or at least gives the user feedback on why it failed posting.

aha, just pasted a bunch more, again copied from the wikipedia page, and sure enough, it errorred out. Well, I got a blank page, no actual error message. Is that what you are seeing as well? :(

It seams to be the non breaking spaces

among the ones I tested, it didn't take two
first was the mark under the c in 'facade'

The second was the double dots over 'a', which wikipedia says is called: a-umlaut
Interestingly, o-umlaut did come through just fine.

Well, it does look like there are some gaps in OGA's character support and at least now we've narrowed it down to some specific characters.
Now we wait for programmer cycles to fix it. :)

Occurs always when I use tripple dots, correct quotes and correct apostrophe. (edit: each single one of them breaks it)
