"The Proust Virus" musical seeks collaborators
I am a jazz and musical theater writer/composer working on a musical, "The Proust Virus," to be staged in New York City in a year or two. In addition to 8 actors and a band, I plan to have a video/computer graphics backdrop projected. Real-life actors will appear in front of a computer-game backdrop and interact. Later in the show, these same characters will remodel their world into one drawn from Marcel Proust's "In Search of Lost Time."
If this intersection between computer game characters, real-life characters and Proust's characters sounds interesting to you, I am looking for a collaborator to put together the video aspect of the show. Some computer game and literary background would be useful. There will likely be some stipends, but that alone is not a good reason to respond.
