spritesheet generator with custom head

Which is the most recent version/variant of Spritesheet Character Generator?

And does it exist a version supporting uploading of custom images for head? I don't like the ball-shaped head, and I see that AI text-to-image can generate quite good pixel-art head.

Which are the official specifications for "hed features" positions?

The latest version of the Spritesheet Character Generator should be v3.5, as far as I know. It’s pretty solid and comes with some cool new features.

About uploading custom heads, I don’t think the generator has a built-in feature for that yet. But I’ve seen some people replacing the default head files with their own custom ones, so it’s definitely possible if you’re okay with a bit of manual tweaking. AI-generated pixel art sounds like a great idea, though—would love to see how that turns out!

For the head features, the official templates usually follow a 16x16 grid, and everything (eyes, nose, mouth) is positioned relative to that. If you’re adding a custom head, just make sure the features align with the same grid so it doesn’t look out of place.
