I was wondering how much it would cost for three pieces of concept art, each a picture of one character.
What sort of style do you have in mind? And who are the characters?
If you just want them made by me in my personal style, I guess around 37 US $.

There's not a lot there and it's nothing special, but then again, this is a fairly cheap price :)

I'd prefer to find someone willing to do a rev-share, but I wasn't having many results with that, which is why I posted here. I'll consider your offer carefully.
Rev share could be a possibility. At least if you're talking about strictly concept art, since I can't help you with 3D :P
But that of course implies that your game has a plan for how it'll be sold :) And I would need a bit of insurance if it gets canceled, but of course not if I've made nothing myself by then.
And yeah, you should probably see if a bit more people show up, see what they can do, and evaluate their prices first. Maybe you'd rather want one of those, though otherwise you can always return to me if need be :)

I usually charge the following for digital art:
up to 275x200 £10 GBP each
up to 375x300: £13 GBP each
If you wanted it significantly smaller or larger than these, we can discuss further between us.
I would be willing to cut the costs in half for an upfront fee if I were to also get shared revenue, however if for any reason it were to be cancelled I would expect the full price. But this is also up for discussion if you have something in mind.
