New Soundtrack Released: The Nine Lives of Er The Cat
I've been producing music here for some time, trying to gain some clout as a musician and have some actual listeners who enjoy and use my music.
This year I thought I would try and improve the production quality and not just make "one-offs" and random experiments, establish a leitmotif and create a long consistent album consisting of shorter music pieces where I reuse orchestration/instrumentation, tempo, motifs and themes.
The result was released throughout the month of July with "The Nine Lives of Er the Cat" - I pictured myself a top down RPG in the style of Chrono Trigger or SNES Zelda, where the story follows an anthropomorphic cat inspired by the story of "The Myth of Er" by Plato or "Icarus". The constraints were
Every track is 100bpm (with the exception of Prologue, because it was the first track I produced).
Every track is some key of D, all though some might be in G or A as the dominant or subdominant of D.
Most tracks reuse the same lead synth for different purposes.
A lot of tracks have a variation on the leitmotifs.
The instrumentation is a a hybrid mix of electronic and orchestral instruments.
The tracks were released one by one because I want the previews to be out there.
The tracks are for the most part loopable, and you should be able to calculate the loop points by counting bars at 100bpm (some tracks have a 3/4 time signature), all though I haven't released them as "tags" or loops, if a video game developer wants this for specific tracks, I'll be happy to do that, but I need to know that the work will be used and that there's a reason for me to put the effort into it. Most of the music follows an ABA song structure. And while the tracks are 1-3 minutes in length, they could all easily be released as 4-6 minute tracks by looping the main part of the tracks, please tell me if you want that as well.
I'm considering releasing the entire soundtrack as one zipfile in a seperate contribution here on Opengameart, but I would like to see with the mods here that it's OK to have the songs released both individually and as a bundle.
The soundtrack is available here as a collection: https://opengameart.org/content/the-nine-lives-of-er-the-cat
Hope you like it!
Well done on your TNLoEtC project! :)
Bundles are great! However, there really should be something in the bundle that isn't alrady present on OGA. Otherwise it's duplicated content. If you have one track that is the main theme, or a mashup of several songs from the project included in the bundle but not present in any of the previous individual submissions, that would be welcome.

I uploaded a bundle, the wav files got too large to share it all in a .zip file.
To provide new content, this one features the .wav files for higher quality, a mashup for preview purposes, and a few tracks where the main part repeats.

Have you considered creating a playlist? I'm not sure if that's supported on drupal but that's a great way to preview the tracks before choosing which to download and it can also be used after downloading them to listen to them one after another.
They're up on Spotify and a bunch of other streaming services, so if people want to listen to it in order, you can just search for the album there.
