Both(for comercial use), if free with license that at least will allow me to slice the song/sounds.

Do you know if the following songs could be modified(at least sliced just some portions from them):

I'm not sure how GPL works, but I'm pretty sure you can't use those songs in commercial games. With cc3 and 4 I think you can slice songs as you wish as long as you still credit the original composer, cc-sa however does not allow this, I think. As far as I know - don't count on me as your source for this, read the licences yourself

When you say cc3/cc4 do you mean "CC-BY 3.0" / "CC-BY 4.0" ?

Also do you mind to provide links for paid ones(for comercial use) ?

Thanks

Yes, I do mean that.

Here are links to paid musicians. I am also available for commissions myself, but I doubt I can do a style like Warcraft, so it'll likely behoove you better to single out someone else, still, I'm ready to give it a try and then we can see if you like it ^^

If you want paid tracks that are already made, just do a search for "stock music", or go to sounddogs.com

@Spring: As far as I know, everything on OGA is available for Commercial and Non-commercial Use, but they can't apply DRM to CC-BY-SA (and GPL, I think) material. It just means that they have to release their game as open source rather than closed source.

Reading the license in detail would be the best way to be sure though, I agree.

@Aster: Here's a source for music. You might find what you are looking for here? https://opengameart.org/forumtopic/all-music-at-soundimageorg-is-now-fre...

@cougarmint: They can't apply DRM to the specific assets licensed CC-BY-SA. That doesn't necessarily mean closed code (a separate asset) isn't compatible. But yes, ultimately researching the licenses is the best way to know what's best for your own project.

@MedicineStorm: Makes sense. That was the part about CC-BY-SA that confused me from the get-go and why I changed all the licenses on my stuff.

Regardless, I know that CC-BY-SA stuff does infact allow Commercial use, but it is very restrictive on how it can be remixed/transformed -- mainly that you have to release the remixed asset under the exact license and some other restrictions that I can't remember off hand.
