Here's a song I submitted a couple of days ago:

So, what do you like about it?  What would you change?  Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Simple and perfect. It reminds me of intermission games that happened every now and then in donkey kong 64. Everything seemed on time as for the quantization becasue I am guessing you used midi.

I am not that good at music, but to me it sounds pretty good so far. I like the beginning most, and I don't know how you could improve it. Sorry for this unhelpful message :)

Well, its midi. you cant really go too wrong with midi. Thats why back in the semi old days. Musicians would get mad at people who make game music in the early 90's they thought that it would kill music as we know it. but if you listen to it now at the highest climax its at the same calibur as film scores. Midi is just a command, so as long as you got the key signature and the rythmn correct you are pretty much gold in a nutshell. Good job Bart.

The thing is to me though. I usually dont like critiquing songs until I get a 2 track player or some kind of mono speaker in the center of my mix. So when I listen to the song and all the music is fine and dandy, I can take another look and see if it was mixed down and "mastered" correctly. :P So I suggest doing that sometime to hear how you did on a final product.
