Last Escape 2: Xeon in Kentroidvania

So I'm having fun with this HTML5 canvas game library called Quintus, and I thought I'd try and throw together a sequel to OGA's Reddit Game Jam entry from several years ago called Last Escape.  Quintus has turned out to be delightfully easy to both use and modify, so I've made some modifications of my own, including support for sloped tiles and reasonably complete Tiled map loading support.

Note that this is mostly just a tech demo of my changes to Quintus at the moment; Xeon doesn't do much apart from run and jump just yet, but the plan is to hopefully turn it into a Metroidvania type game, and maybe even get other people to contribute levels, since I've got Tiled integration working pretty well.

For now, if you're running Firefox, you can check out the tech demo, here:  (edit: This has now been tested successfully in IE 10 and Chrome.)

Hmm, it might just be me, but I can't seem to run the tech demo.  I opened the link with Firefox as well.

I'm actively working on it at the moment, so you may have just opened it at the wrong time.  Try it again. :)

Hehe, I don't suppose I could convince you to use the other Xeon sprites.  Otherwise I'll have to bump up fixing the animations on the original on my to-do list (right above... well, updating and finishing those other Xeon sprites, but there you have it).

http://opengameart.org/forumtopic/xeon-as-he-is-sprited these (though I see I haven't actually submitted them to the gallery proper, probably because I never did get them properly polished and do all animations.  But the essential ones are there, and it is CC-By as of whenever I get it up and together).

Can you attach an image with all the current individual frames?  I'll use it, and I might even contribute a couple easy ones (like run+shoot and jump+shoot).
