How can I collaborate?

Hi everyone. I would like to make some pixel or vector art for open game art yet I was wondering if there are categories or assets without entries, this way I immediately get to help enriching the catalog instead of making another set of rpg warrior sprites. Any ideas?
Hello. Im a big fan of 'point & click' games. I would love to see more assets oreintated towards that genre of games. Character animations and scenerys. (Escspe from Monkey Island, Broken Sword style) :)

And I'm a fan of escape games (think Submachine)
Will definetely look into that! Thanks; if you have some other ideas don't hesitate to write to me. I'm more into pixel or vector, and a bit of audio productions as well. I can't promise anything but really want to make new things and finally, helping making games!
Hello, AV Reference.
About one year ago, I created a topic about sharing ideas for games.
https://opengameart.org/forumtopic/ideas-for-games
The topic has become popular, some good ideas were proposed there.
So, as we sometimes do art challenges here, I have launched an art challenge with the goal of producing art related to these ideas.
You have until the 20th September (included) if you want to produce art for this challenge.
To participate, just tag your art with "Challenge" and "Brought to life" (the name of this art challenge).
If you don't want to read all the forum pages of the topic, I made a summary of the ideas here :

^Xom's suggestion seconded. Even if you don't have enough time to submit for this art challenge, the art challenges in general are a fantastic way to collaborate since they're usually based on actual game concept needs.
