[Hiring][$100] NES tileset artist for "Vegan on a Desert Island" open-source PC game

EDIT: An artist has been found. Thanks to all who applied!

Hi! I'm creating an open-source video game called Vegan on a Desert Island. It's a top-down 2D puzzle-adventure game for Linux, MacOS, and Windows. The gameplay is much like "Zelda without enemies" meets "point-and-click adventure."

You can see the game's intro + some gameplay footage to get an idea of what it's about: https://vimeo.com/326933910

I'm seeking a freelance pixel artist with experience creating tilesets. In particular, the game's tileset uses a modified NES color palette with an outline-less style. Here's the game's overworld tileset:

We are seeking help extending this tileset. In particular we have two areas in mind:

  • Catacombs

  • Volcano

My budget is about $100/mo. This is based on my Patreon income. It's not a retainer, $100 is just my monthly limit. Depending on your hourly wage we can do a lot of work in 1 month or a little.

The game is open source, and we ask that all your contributions also be open source. As part of this gig, all work you create would be licensed under CC-BY-SA-4.0 (or a similar free license of your choice).

Please let me know if you're interested! I'm looking forward to what we create together. :-)
