Glitchy preview

I didn't look too long for duplicate posts, so sorry if this has already been asked. I uploaded some assets and just wanted to know why the preview looks glitchy... Could it have something to do with it being a transparent gif? link: https://opengameart.org/content/simple-potion-animations
I confirm seeing the same glitch with Firefox.

It seems to be a problem with all gif files, if you make a search of "gif", you will see glitchy previews in the search results.
Correct. This is an artifact of the way drupal+imagemagic handles animated previews with transparency. Currently, the only solution is to add a solid opaque background to the preview gifs. (no need to add this on the actual asset, just the preview files.)
