Hello, everybody. Here is a topic for making suggestions and propositions about banners for the next game jams.
For example, for the upcoming Summer 2021 Game Jam, I thought about something underwater.
The image would have :
- Sara wearing a diving equipment (no such image exists for now)
- a background with coral, shells (https://opengameart.org/content/coral-reef for example)
- some sea creature like a shark (like this : https://opengameart.org/content/shark-character-walking-animation), or a mermaid (like this : https://opengameart.org/content/merfolk-rider)
When will summer 2021 game jam be held? July seems a bit early after the spring one didn't end before June.
I have no idea. Actually, when I wrote "upcoming", I meant that it is the next to come, not that it will start soon.
I do not know if it is planned for July or August.
Hopefully August, July seems a bit intensive right after the spring one, if its for August I might try to draw the banner for it then, however.
I would say August is the best idea too.
Why not having sara as a mermaid? With an underwater temple like atlantis. Although this might be more for an underwater theme rather than summer.
For summer we could have also something at a tropical beach with palmtrees and coconuts
