FLARE [ARCHIVED]

Game Flavor

But heck, what did I like about Flare?  The flavor and environment rule.

One of the coolest things I ran into was when I closed and loaded the game for the first time and saw my character's title change.  "Neat," I though, "It autodetected the class I was going for."  That was really cool!  Not only that, as I "multiclassed," my title changed again!  This is one of the greatest pieces of flavor I saw in Flare - leaving things open-ended but still adapting somewhat to my choices.

The cave areas look very cool and classy.  While the questline for the Averguard keep was pretty basic, I liked many of the evens in the cave to the side.  Suddenly having the wall collapse on me was a nice touch.

I can't wait to get into some of the higher levels!
