Please, if you can, modify the server config so that it will send .blend files as "Content-Type: application/octet-stream" instead of the current "Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8". My browser tries to show those files as text and it is a bit annoying. I know that "Save as..." solves this, but usually I forget to use that, because most non-text files are started as downloads.
