Guys at Arcmage (under http://arcmage.org/ ) aren't ringing the bell loud enough, so I think I should help them a bit. Arcmage is a card game from Battle for Wesnoth universe, produced for a good few years, it was recently released for the public. I was actively involved in it's predecessor, WTactics, from around 2008 to around 2013.

The Arcmage has a lot to offer both for the players who want to wet their feet with card game development, and also for people wanting to get illustrations for other projects. Or just like nice stuff. The project simply needs all love and buzz it can get. There are some decks for sale, but the PDF is free and ready for DIY.

It's a fruit of a decade of hard work, most of the pieces there were done by Santiago Iborra. Hi-res, high quality illustrations released under CC license. All in style blending into Wesnothian universe.
