Hello OGA Users and Admins,

I Need 3D Characters For Graduation Game Project, I Have 7 Years of Experience In Programming But  I'm A Newbie At 3D Content.

It's a 1 on 1 Beat em up game, and need characters for it. Characters won't be used in any of commercial projects, and credits will be shared.

Thanks.

I'm assuming that the 7 years experience is on 2D game development, so why not make a 2D fighting game instead?

got game?

7 years experience on programming, not only 2d games, windows projects, web sites, iPhone apps etc.

Generally, application developing.

Last year i started to build my own isometric rpg game engine on xna framework and gone pretty good here is some screenshots:

Editor, 3D World Studio with custom entities like camera, playerstart, fire, light: http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/1932/holwip23.png

In-Game Screen: http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/9766/holwip22.png

In-Game Different Angle:

So, as you can see, i got experience on 3D game developing as well, where i stuck is, i cannot create 3D models, or 2D spritesheets, i'm not an artist (at least talented one :P)

So, if you can provide me a link or some 3D human/none human 1 on 1 fighting character, it'll be awesome,

I'll send a copy of game to every contrubitor, and i'll write credits as well.

Hi Sehlor, welcome to OGA!

You should probably add a better description to your request. How many faces should the model have? What animations? Should it only have diffuse maps or normal maps and specular maps aswell? And what about the style, should it be rather cartoony, realistic or anything else?

Additionally, your project doesn't seem to be FOSS, and since this is a community dedicated to creating art for FOSS projects, there might not be too many people which are eager to help you. And creating 3D models is a difficult and time-intense job. Have you considered commissioning art?

If you can't afford commissioning art and don't find any artist who does it for free, you might also want to check the game-ready 3D models collection we have.

I Think i couldn't explain myself,

The project will be distrubuted openly, freely with its source and cc licensed assets.

I Mean my project will be open source and free 2 play, download, change etc.

3D Models is about 2-4k poly, with really simple animations, punch, kick, idle, get hit. If contrubitor wants to he/she can add some special moves etc.

All characters will be named with their contrubitor's name (or whatever he/she choose to)

Paying for models is an option of course, but i can't spend more than 200 box for this project, and i think 200 box for this is not enough :)

I'll sent an email to mixamo staff describing my project and waiting to return, i hope they are kind enough to accept taking their animations.

Regards.
