you have pretty good intonation when doing different voices, I like it. If only I could get you to do it through a nice condenser mic with less noise floor and stick with one voice it would be awesome.
Thanks brandon :)
This was just a quick one to see if john was interested. I will actually end up adding another voice later, but once i have some dialogue i will try for a clean record. I will check for a condenser mic to use too.
Ok, tried a different mic out, but it is still a work in progress. The second file is the new file.
Very nice, those would be very good to use in a rts game or something of that nature. The high pitch ones were kind of silly, I bet if you reallly got into them you could make them sound like its not even you. However, the deep ones that sound like you were doing someone with a lot of pride like a knight or footman. Those were spot on, I think those should be used in a game as its own character. Because I can tell when you did the deep voice you acted it out like you would actually doing voices for a game. Some high pitched voices you did sounded "thin" it might of been you kinda back away from the mic or not getting closer to bring out some "body" in the recording. Because female vocals with higher registry you can hear the body they have still they just have a higher frequency content with a different timbre. Id say keep it up and they sound good for an OS game.
