Some sugestions, press F3 to save only the model in a screenshot (i dont care about your blender screen); set to soft the model if it has round shapes (T -> Shading -> Smooth ), it saves on polis and looks better, what you did can be acomplished with way less polis, you shouldnt start adquiring those modeling vices so soon. That you are giving it away its no excuse for you not to properly do it.

It took me very long to find out about the button for smooth shading, most of my stuff you find here on the site was originally build without this knowledge. Self teaching can be tough sometimes.
