What is "RPG Orchestral Essentials"?
It is a collection of RPG orchestral video game tracks I've composed, with the MP3 versions of the recordings free to download and use in video game projects.
Each track loops seamlessly at least once, and ends abruptly with natural trailing reverberation, allowing you to either set seamless loop points or match the tracks to a dramatic scene.

Great song!
However, the license you've included in the download is incompatible with the license you've specified here.Namely, CC-BY (and all other licenses accepted on OGA) places no restrictions on what medium the assets are used in. Your EULA forbids use in anything but a video game.CC-BY (and all other licenses accepted on OGA) allows redistribution, duplication, sale, trade, or gifting the unmodified "raw" track to others. Your EULA forbids this.CC-BY forbids placing additional terms on the assets that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits. Your EULA requires obtaining additional permissions under certain circumstances. You are, of course, free to distribute your work under the license you see fit, but would you be willing to additionally share your assets here under the terms of CC-BY? Until then, I have to mark this has having a licensing issue, just in case you do not wish your work to be distributed under these terms. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. :)Hey there and thanks for the heads up!
I've updated the EULA to be compatible with CC-BY and re-uploaded the .zip, let me know if that works or if there are any further issues - thanks!
Thanks.
I see there is no longer a "to be used in video games only" term as well as no requirement to obtain additional permissions, but section 2.a is still in conflict: To be compatible with CC-BY (or any other OGA-accepted license) the assets must be allowed to be redistributed or even sold... modified, raw, or otherwise. The reason for this is because forbidding redistribution and sale (even of only the "raw" unadapted version) causes a legal complication for game developers that renders the assets effectively unusable, even if they have no intent to charge money for their game. I can go into more details of why that is if you're interested. I don't think other people should be able to profit off of your generosity and hard work when they did very little, but that is rarely an actual occurrence. Any 3rd party trying to sell your work for their own profit would still be required to attribute you and link back to your page (or this one). Any potential customers could simply click the link, see that the assets are available here for free, and decide they have no need to pay this 3rd party for them. You are correct - removed section 2(a)!
Let me know if there are any further issues - thanks!
Looks great, sounds great! :)
