I have included the xcf for water so that you can edit it.

You can change the water color and background. Open the water.xcf file and change the water color by changing color for the color-layer. make sure the layer has opacity less than 100% or else the background will not visible.

You can also change the background of water to match with your environment. Just set the background image in background layer.
