A slightly cartoonish synthesized car engine sounds work if you use pitchbend and crossfading to different pitches depending on the rpm of the engine.

Gear stick shifting is recorded inside the car, as is the handbrake. Works well as a sound effect for various levers.

Files starting with "odd" are handy if you use convolution to add a sense of space depending on where the sound is happening.

Hums are always useful when nothing specific makes a sound to add atmosphere.
