16*16 tiles in just four shades of grey. I'm told they look like sprites from a particular handheld adventure game from a long and popular series but I assure you they are not.
I wanted MIT license but the site doesn't allow for that. I guess it really only applies to software anyway. I think CC-BY-SA 3.0 is the closest thing.
Attribution Instructions:
Also available under MIT license.
Just list "Anonymous" in your attributions. No need for a proper name. To clarify, I don't care about them being attributed to me specifically, just acknowledge that they were made by someone else.

I believe CC BY is actually closest to MIT - I don't think MIT is copyleft.
MIT, as a non-copyleft license, only requires attribution, not for others to use the same exact license (to share alike). So, just like Sanglorian said, CC BY is closer to MIT in that way.
Also, you're welcome to add a note to your description that the tiles are additionally available under the MIT license.
The reason we removed it is because the submit page was already too complicated and hardly anyone ever used MIT.
As you don't seem to care about attribution, maybe you want to choose CC0, even.
These are a bit hard to grok. Has anyone used these or made a preview example?
