This background is to fulfil a request from our forums for a snowy terrain to match a platypus character i have also uploaded. This is my interpretation of the Snowy Mountains region of Australia, which is home to the platypus and has quite different terrain to snowy areas elsewhere in the world.  The mountains in Australia are very old, so they are low and round, and they are covered in scragly eucalyptus trees.  The valleys have creeks and rivers which never fully freeze and have platypi living in burrows in the banks.

This image is 2560 x 1600 px and repeats horizontally to allow for infinite scrolling.
