It's a good job.
haha! An interesting little creature.
You should know that the stipluation in your "read me license.txt" file about "Direct redistribution is not allowed" is unenforcable and contradicts the license you've chosen. I doubt anyone would redistribute your artwork directly when it's already available here, but CC0 still allows people to do whatever they want, including direct distribution. Would you be willing to modify or remove that stipulation in the read me license file? Also, tags like "Free" and "indy" are redundant. Everything on this site is free and predominantly independent. Such tags are routinely removed.Ah, that was my bad,
I just packed it without checking. I know that I am giving that, whatever it actually is, away without any rights whatsoever. I just wanted to give stuff back to the community. But thanks for the advice. Are you guys checking every entry? Seems like a lot of work :)
Hm, I will update the whole thing. Hope it won't be an issue in the future.
What kind of keywords would you suggest because, as I can see, things get a little messy on that site when so many people are giving their share here.
Yes, we usually check every entry. Not always very thouroughly, though. :) It is a lot of work, but we want to be sure everyone feels secure getting assets from OpenGameArt and don't have to worry about licensing conflicts.
Thank you for your generosity. We love seeing new assets shared for everyone.
Nah! Updating it can only improve things. No need to remove the whole readme file, but it's not an issue if you do, either.
Yeah, tags can get kinda messy, but the goal is to help people find your work, so any tags that someone might type when looking for this asset is going to be great. What you have now is pretty solid. Some additional tags that might be helpful are things like the art style ("pixelart"), the dimensions ("16x16"), technical features of the asset ("animated", "4-bit" or "6 colors"), the file format used (".png"), and maybe a few synonyms of what you already have describing the critter ("monster", "critter", or "creature" as examples)
