This is a tileset for building ships and boats in different sizes and facing different directions. The tiles are 32x32 pixels in size and fit characters that are roughly two tiles high.

It is basically a build-your-own-boat kit with lots of wooden planks, boughs, masts and sails in different angles and directions so that you can make a large variety of very different ships. This invludes huge freighters, small boats, viking ships and sand gliders. (baloons and more variations of sails are planned, so that you could also make fantasy air ships)

This set is still work in progress and will get more additions. So far it includes:

• a tilesheet of basic building blocks to form the ship's body
• a tilesheet with modular sails of different sizes and angles
• a tilesheet of some more decorative boughs (some of which do not yet have all 4 directions)
• a tilesheet for smaller elements and decorations, such as ropes and cargo
• a spritesheet for an animated ship's wheel

To make use of the tiles easier, I have also included some prebuilt ship bases that you only have to put sails and decoration on and you're good to go.

These tiles were made to match and work well with some of my other tiles, such as animated water, my animated raft or my shark sprite, all of which (and some more) can be found in my tropical collection.
