This is an animated topdown, 4-directional shark sprite.

I have included 3 versions:

  • one full body version for when the camera/player is under the water
  • one version of just the fin for view from above the water
  • one as above but where the sharks body outline is still suggested by a blue shadow

Made to be used with my stingray sprite.

Hey, thanks for submitting these sprites. I was actually thinking of doing a shark this week for LPC already, so instead I'll remix yours with attribution to be in LPC colors. I'm also going to be converting the walking mushroom, shiba dog, and giant rat sprites from the Aurora Sprites site you linked in your profile.

Just to be clear, are the sprites listed on Aurora Sprites under a specific license or is it ad-hoc licensing? Right now you give instructions for attribution, but you don't name a standard license of use (well, I didn't see one anyway)

Thanks a lot! I am really glad that you like my sprites and even more happy that you consider editing them so others can use them more easily.

I originally come from the RPG-Maker community, where standard licenses are not really much of a thing. Thats why I wrote the TOS on my homepage that way. But now that I have somewhat of a grip of how those licenses work, I will be adding a CC-BY 4.0 license to the stuff on my page as well, so feel free to take the sprites under that license. If you post edits of my stuff, I would appreciate if you could post a link to my homepage, though.

Sure, I was planning on linking back. New animations so far include the dog eating, rat biting and dying, and the shark submerging. I'd take that nice stingray sprite too, but LPC entirely lacks any reef tiles or see-through water tiles afaik

Hi there! I made a recolor of your shark and posted it in the comments of taliporenzo's recolors.
