Saliv's OGA Jam 2
So, in case you did not know OGA Game Jam 2 is comming soon. This game jam has an interesting rule:
1) You can use ANY game engine/software you desire, as long has you have the license/permissions to do so. Gamemaker, Unity, Java, HTML, scratch etc, or even you own created engine if you like. But no actual coding/programming until the start of the jam. Story boarding, editing, modifying, creating, locating your game assets for you project is absolutely fine. :)
With that permision granted I went out and found most of the assets I want for my Game Jam project and intend to be getting everything (mostly myself, but also a few assets) ready in the few days remaining before the month long jam begins in earnest.
I plan to use the Godot Game Engine (3.X family) to make a 2D space shooter where your job is to rescue people and escort the get-a-way ships to safty in a end of the world like scenario.
OpenGameArt.org can automatically generate a single credits file for all of the art in this collection. Please note that, while we tried our best, this file is in no way guaranteed to be accurate, and properly attributing the work you distribute with your project remains your responsibility. You'll want to load up this file in a text editor, check to make sure everything looks good (and that any special attribution instructions are followed), and then delete the notice at the top of the file, as the notice is designed to make you look very silly if you don't check over the file and remove it.
