I tried to make a sciency type magic... lol, this was the result!! It was very intimidating at first, but I got through it, ahaha!! This is actually the photoshop file, so you can mess around with the animation or manipulating the base design.

I really like the animation of this. It impldoes and lets loose a nice shockwave effect. Could be used as a weapon effect or teleportation type animation. I enjoyed your science challenge entries. Very cool and well done!
I could see a teleportation, lol... hadn't thought of anything outside of an attack magick, thanks for your comment!! :D An on hit effect would be neat too, like on hit spell cast. I can see it like a demi/gravity effect that reduces HP by %'s.
