I can see this sound effect being useful. Kind of too much background noise though. From an air conditioner i think.

Thanks! This is the source sample. For the splice I am using in my game, I used GoldWave's Effect->Filter->Noise Reduction->Reduce Hum filter. It removed pretty much all the noise.

In fact, I'll re-upload the sample with that effect applied.
