Pixel art outlined text fonts
These are several pixel art text fonts I made over the years, mostly for Vircon32 games and demos. They are all outlined in black. Aside from the that I made the base color white for all of them. That way, if you use them in Vircon32, you can use the multiply color to draw them in any color.
These fonts are mostly monospace, though some of them do include a few extra characters of different widths (typically M, W, I and a few others). You may notice that the characters are laid out in a grid, of either 16x8 characters (for standard ASCII) or 16x16 (for extended ASCII).
Some of the fonts include more characters than others, but all of them cover at least the typical uses for basic English: numbers, letters and common signs.
Note that fonts designed for extended ASCII are laid out following ISO 8859-1 (also known as Latin-1 or Windows codepage 1252), which is the same layout used in the Vircon32 BIOS font.
If you would like to know about Vircon32, the game console I created, find its website here: www.vircon32.com. Both the emulator and games are free and open source.
