This is a set of 52 pixel-art playing cards designed with the same size and color palette as Susan Kare's original Solitaire card set (as used in MS Windows from 3.0 to XP), but instead derived from Adolf Charlemagne's "Satin Deck" design (which became the most common design for playing cards used in Imperial Russia and the Soviet Union).

The cards use the Windows 16-color palette, and are restricted to white, black, shades of gray, bright red and bright yellow colors, same as those used in the Windows set of cards (presumably this decision was originally made to avoid weird discoloration, as color inversion was used to indicate selection in early versions of Windows Solitaire).
