What a lot more work.
We've worked hard, yes :)
Found this project a few years ago - good to see it's still going.
New asset directory looks great. Well done.
really amazing work especially animations! I'm impressed.
Thank you Boom and aleksander! Your comments mean a lot to us :)
Beautiful pixel art, incredible! Love the toucan :D
Thanks Stormtrooper! The Toucan is a perfect example of collaboration, I can't remember who drew the original, but I had so much fun animating it :D
Very well done indeed, i checked file tile_jungle_ground_brown.png and if you devide one of the elements in 3 sections its actually 32x38 for single piece.

Of course, removing bottom 6 pixels would be an option, but that would kill the tilability i guess.
#edit: If you want to use it in games youll need pixel perfect environment, which is power of two- 16, 32x32, etc.
Hi @Lonoress,
Indeed, all our platforms extend the 32x32 tile. Turn on a 32x32 grid to see how the set is constructed.
Here is a small example:
Hi @Hapiel, now its clear what kind of devision you intended. Makes sense for this kind of character platformer. In my case it's not humanoid, i guess thats the challenge for me, as layering will have to be different.
*Back grass height connections are not the same, so for now i cant use them in my map generator, ill probably edit them myself in PS at the end.
*Unfortunatelly, out of the box, almost all atlases and their packing is not suitable for games if your target platforms includes low-end androids and/or if you intend very steady framerate on PC. I'm currently remaking them.
Do you/pixel project forum accepts requests (misc ground parts) in this kind of art style?
Cheers
Depending on if your requests are a contribution to the project, you migth be able to get lucky and get some stuff done. I for one wont be working on requests for a while. Your best bet is to look up our forum and chat, and ask!
Hello,
I'm trying to build a demo game with these tiles. I have imported these tiles in construct 2, but i cannot build a tree as in the shown example. The problem is that round tiles overlaps the tree as in the picture.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hi I was looking at these wonderful assets, what kind of license should be used?
Is it in the public domain?
On the notes there is written that is not required attribution, but in the part concerning the licenses are inserted more license you can know if there are restrictions on this material?
Hey! I used the toucan animation in my new android GPS game for the jungle level and it looks GREAT! Thanks so much Hapiel! I put a link to openpixelproject in the credits!
PS. The game is free in the play store if you want to check it out... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.SoftwareCompanyName.GPSBrickBreaker
