These are a couple of game designs I never got around to using. The original timestamps have been lost, but they're from 2017 at most. Maybe you'll find them inspirational:

- Citypunk: a cyberpunk trading game
- Ruler of Andromeda: a space opera game of ship battles

I held onto them for the longest time hoping to add a third, but it wasn't to be. Also, there's no art that could serve as a preview.

I like these.

What would you say are some of the key differences between ROA and a game like FTL? There clearly are differences, though I think it helps me understand a design by highlighting those differences when comparing games with a lot of similarities too.

Thank you! To answer your question, I never played FTL, but ROA wouldn't be procedural, or have micromanagement, or nearly as much graphics. Otherwise, not sure. If my vision had been more solid, maybe the game would have gotten made.
