Human Base Mesh – Blender 2.69 (AI-Assisted Reference)
Description
This 3D model was manually created by me in Blender 2.69.
AI-generated images were used only as visual reference, similar to how artists use concept art, photographs, or anatomy studies. No AI-generated meshes, textures, or other assets are included in this download.
The downloadable file contains only the original 3D mesh and Blender materials created manually by me.
The purpose of the AI images was to help generate pose ideas and turnaround references (front / side / back views) used during the manual modeling process.
AI Assistance Disclosure
AI tools were used only to generate reference images.
No AI-generated assets are included in the downloadable files.
AI Tools Used
-
ChatGPT (DALL-E 3) – initial concept references
-
Google Gemini (Gemini 3 Flash) – refined pose and turnaround references
Model Details
-
Software: Blender 2.69
-
Model type: Human base mesh
-
Topology: Work in progress
-
Current version: March 2026
This model is still being improved. Some topology areas (especially hands and face) will be gradually refined to reduce polygon count and improve edge flow.

Comments
Are the ai image references used to help make the model or are they used as preview images?
The model was created from these images using an old model I had. I asked the artificial intelligence to create new references, so I'm making them available in case anyone wants to improve it or use them as a reference for new textures. The model took 3 days to make, and when I have free time, I will go back to improving it.
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand. That doesn't really answer my question. "The model was created from these images". are "these" images the ones where AI helped make them?
Did you use AI to help make images that you then referenced to create the 3D models?
That's right, the images were created and the model was then manually crafted from them in Blender 2.69.
I see. Are there any other models crafted using this same technique?
I ask because this model- although not using AI generated components itself- would be a derivative of assets generated with AI. As such, there is not any certain copyright problem, but this model should probably follow the same rules as other assets that used AI to help craft them. See https://opengameart.org/content/art-submission-guidelines#ai and let me know if you have questions about it.
Thank you for the clarification and for the link. I understand that this is an AI-assisted derivative work. To comply with the guidelines:
I have already clarified in the description that AI was used for the visual reference.
I am happy to add any specific tags (like 'AI-assisted') if required.
This is my first model using this technique, but I plan to make more in the future following these guidelines from the start.
Does the current description meet the requirements now, or should I change the license from CC0 to something else? I want to make sure it's helpful for the community while following the rules.
To be fully transparent about the process: The original concept was initiated via ChatGPT (DALL-E), and then I used Google Gemini (Gemini 3 Flash model) to refine the poses and create the technical turnaround (front/side/back views) that I used as the final reference for the manual modeling in Blender 2.69.
Here is the required information:
AI Tools: ChatGPT (DALL-E 3) and Google Gemini (Gemini 3 Flash).
Version: March 2026.

Again, the uploaded file is only the 3D mesh (.blend) I manually created. If the current site policy keeps the download disabled for AI-assisted work, I understand, but I hope the community can still see the manual effort involved in the 3D construction.
Yes that is the correct information, but it should be added to the description, not just as a comment.
I need to update the files with new updates, but I'm unable to save them.
