hey Guys,

I need your help for finding out the greatest programming-language at this moment.

I searched 5 points you should put in a order of importance...
-Education (books/tuts...)
-Installation/Versions (available Compiler/Interpreter)
-Tangibility/Syntax(difficulty)
-Practice(Using it...)
-GUI-Programming(difficulty)

You can answer with the numbers 1-5 (the most importance-the less importance)...
e.g.:Education==3;Installation==1...

Is this a survey? Or are you picking a language to use for programming games for yourself? :)

There is no such thing as The Best. Just use the right tool (language) for the job. To answer such a question we at least need to know the job.

Also, if this isn't for game programming, it is quite off-topic.

Sounds like you want to decide what language to start learning, right?

Well in that case there is a definite answer I think: Python!

Easy to learn, great learning material available, good "compilers"/VM and libs(incl.gui), not limited in concepts and a syntax similar to C++.
