[LPC Revised] Base Object Kit!
LPC Revised: an entirely DRM-friendly graphics set made with an original consistent, 128-color palette. All graphics in this series have had their DRM-clause waived, meaning they can be released on platforms like iOS, something not possible with LPC's original CC-by-SA license.
This package contains the new palette and objects: furniture, decor, storage, clutter, lighting. Plenty of original pieces have been added, including four-direction turnarounds and original paintings.
In the future, I'll be releasing a structure base set, for walls, flooring and structural elements; a terrain and nature set, for tiling terrain and nature objects; and a set of new and revised LPC character animations. Everything will be uploaded here, at a central LPC repository: https://github.com/ElizaWy/LPC
I'll also be taking suggestions and commissions through my Patreon account.

Thanks to Basxto for converting the Liberated Palette into Gimp format! It's been added to the Github repository.
Looks great! Thanks ElizaWy!
Very nice sprites! The shades and patterns are smooth :)
What app did you use to make your palette analysis?
@Ivan - Thank you! The palette sheet is from the Dawnbringer Palette Analyser, from Lospec! Link
with respect, is there any proof that the original copywrite holders waved their drm or original licenses?
Sharm and Redshrike have both given the go-ahead on this forum post. She's confirmed it elsewhere as well.
All BlueCarrot assets I've used are OGA-By on their individual assets, which I've provided links for in the individual credits within the package.
Hyptosis assets are largely CC-by, not CC-by-SA, so DRM doesn't apply.
thank you so much, that's all i needed. i was worried that if i used them i could end up in toruble (i'm making a harvestmoon/zelda hybrid, and i have nearly no interior stuff other then the walls and floor i created)
No worries! My biggest goals were a consistent color palette, very easy crediting, and a more relaxed license. I'm being super careful with this project. :)
Hey, this is really neat! I really like the colors of the fabric; the colors work extremely well for that. I must say, I am not a big fan of the wood. I feel all the wood looks kind of drab, in comparison to the relatively saturated colors used for woods in the base assets.
Despite your messages to the contrary on Discord, I *do* care about color palettes and consistency! :) (With few exceptions, I think you'll find that---for the most part---my art sticks quite closely to the original LPC palette, and when I add other colors, they are generally colors that others have used already elsewhere. That said, it is kind of ad hoc, so I have been trying to put together a more comprehensive list of the colors I am using to be sure they are consistent.
Although you will probably hate this idea, I am also considering constructing a franken-palette, with browns and greens from the base assets, plus grays and saturated colors from your palette :) I like your purples, blues, pinks, etc. better than those in the base palette or others, at least for furniture and fabric and such.
Anyway, a few licensing comments:
However, I believe all of the Hyptosis art in question is *also* available here under CC0 https://opengameart.org/content/mage-city-arcanos , so you're fine , but you should probably include a link to that in your credits. The only other item I'm having trouble placing is the tall bottles and wine glass in Clutter.png ... are those from Hyptosis too? If so, where?
I never said you didn't care! I said we didn't always see eye to eye! :D (Or at least, that was the gist of it? And I believe that was in reference to this project branching a different direction than what you were working on.) That said, I have no qualms with you grabbing part of the palette. Take it with my blessings-- though I'm wishing that I'd desaturated the pink a bit more now.
Thanks so much for the corrections!
Your username has been fixed on OGA, I'll run into the credits and change those, too, along with the Hyptosis stuff, the original LPC examples, and my repository files. The bottles and wine glass in Clutter.png and the potted bushes in Flowers.png are both my original art... I suppose I should add that in, too, to keep it all clear.
I'm just teasing you :) Thanks, will do!
Thanks for clarifying; I look forward to seeing more of your original art too! I've really enjoyed your submissions in the past, and it seems like your have big plans.
Amazing work. It's rare to see pixel art as good as this being released for free, but i have never seen it published with such attention given to the palette.
