[LPC] Relm Outfit Pieces (2 Kimonos + 2 Sleeves, 2 Boots, Tabi Socks; Updated 4/9/24)
Similar to this set:

All the pieces here were created for my OC Relm. I actually managed to find the first artwork I comissioned of her still over on deviantArt (I based the outfit on this design, but I don't want to upload the artwork I have saved as I don't technically own the rights to the art):

I added a lot of variety to these Kimono pieces as well, though. All of the following are included:
- Normal Kimono w/Separate Trim Layer
- Split Kimono w/Separate Trim Layer
- Longsleeve Overlay for Both Kimonos w/Separate Trim Layer
- Oversized Sleeve Overlay for Both Kimonos w/Separate Trim Layer
- Fold Flap Boots
- Rimmed Boots
- Metal Plating Overlay For Both Boots Types
- Tabi Socks
- Obi w/Separate Knot + Strand Layer
The Obi itself is based specifically on Relm's from the artwork shared above, but any waist sash should work. A few others do exist on the ULPC as well.
The two sets of sleeves are both based on my OC Relm's design above. In the original design she had one long sleeve and one oversized sleeve, but my revisions to her character only require the oversize now. Still, I made both versions anyway, and these sleeves can go over either Kimono design.
It took me about two weeks to complete everything here, and I only completed the universal set. I will complete run/jump/sit eventually, but ONLY for the female model (and technically teen, but I don't intend on modifying the chest area).
If anyone wants to make these variations, feel free, but this was a ton of work and I mostly just wanted this for my OC Relm. I wish I could have gotten more done here, but doing clothing just took way more effort than anything else I've done so far.
The "tight" kimono, "rim" boots, and "tabi socks" were basically made as extras. I read that tabi socks are commonly worn with kimonos, so I included them as an extra thing, inspired by this I found online:
https://japanobjects.com/features/tabi
I didn't really "need" to do the "normal" kimono either, but I decided to do that because most kimonos I see online do seem to be more tightly together (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimono). The "normal" kimono was also done primarily because it was relatively easy to create that variation.
Eventually I intend on making child versions of these outfits, but I didn't have time to do it just yet. I also plan to release male versions of the footwear (I completed the Tabi Socks, but opted not to include them until I finish the rest) as well as the Obi because that should be relatively easy to mesh to the male base.
UPDATE 4/9/24:
Added the male boot variants, Obi, and Tabi Socks!
* NOTICE:
Base sprites used in preview image are part of the LPC set and were not made by me, these outfit pieces assume you are already using the existing LPC base models.
The Universal LPC Character Generator is a great place to get a full list of sprites to use (I will be working on getting these new assets added as well):

Comments
I think when I eventually do finish run/sit/jump I'll add a separate zip file for those assets.
Glad to see an expansion for the Japanese LPC assests.
I think it'd be nice to also get in a Hakama, too. At some point I'll look into that one. As well as a child Kimono, definitely going to try and finish that at some point.
If you have any other suggestions for what you'd like to see, let me know. I'll be prioritizing the stuff I need first, but I'm open for suggestions as well. ^_^
Another idea I had was a "long" Kimono that covers the feet completely. That would be a good option I think. It probably wouldn't be too hard to make that an extension of the existing one, but I already did a lot in this set and didn't want to put yet even more time into an already long project.
Okay, I finally finished up the male versions of the boots as well as the Tabi Socks and Obi pieces. I tried the boots out on the ULPC (at least my local copy) and I think they look quite good for my OC Dalton combined with the Pirate Jacket. Tis unfortunate the Pirate Jacket still is not OGA-BY though... I can use it temporarily to create Dalton, but eventually I'll probably want to create a new jacket if we can't get the existing assets in OGA-BY.
PR is open on ULPC for these updates:

I'm hoping to release a spritesheet compilation of LPC Revised for Tiled Map Editor in a couple of days.
