I tried making a laser for my side scroller. Sadly the project was scrapped. Seeif you could use the same.

What does it mean the art being released undes those 3 licenses? To be honest I quite dont understand why an art woud be GPL. Can i use this for commercial projects?

As I understand it, all three licenses allow commercial use. There are CC "NC" licenses for the case to forbid this. The chosen ones here allow it.

Also, as far as I know, if several licenses are offered it means you can use the work by any of them - it's an offer to chose from. You do not need to comply to all, but only one.

^Varkalandar is correct: All 3 allow commercial use. Just be sure to give credit and share any changes you make to the art under the same license. See the FAQ for details.

As for why any art would be GPL, I agree GPL makes a poor art license, but some art was licensed GPL in the absence of better art licenses (people wanted to share game art, but Creative Commons didn't exist yet). Also, some projects prefer to license the entire project (code, art, music, story) under a single license. If the license is GPL before the art gets involved, it tends to stick to the art as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
