Kutejnikov Dagger/Sword Remix 3d
I'm Finally finished. As soon as I first saw the three colorful Daggers by Kutejnikov, https://opengameart.org/content/daggers , I immediatly imagined a broken sword(sorry, I know that probably wasn't the original intent) and so I set out to create a 3d version, which drummyfish beat me to the punch, https://opengameart.org/content/kutejnikovs-weapons-3d
My version is a little higher poly than drummyfish's version, but still fairly low poly, around 500 tris, and like I said, I imagined these as broken swords, so naturally I had to create the sword and not just the dagger. While I was at it, I also thought the hammer Kutejnikov created looked like it would fit the same theme, so I made that into a dagger/sword as well
Included is the 2d versions of all the swords/daggers(plus alternates with different gem colors)
A texture of the obsidian dagger compatible with drummyfish's 3d model
Sword 3d model & textures
Dagger model(which is the base of the shattered sword)
3 sword shard models, finishing the sword
and a random shard particle if you want to animate the shattering.
There is also a texture for the 3d models of just the cracks in the sword so you can make that part glow or something just before it breaks.
The original 3 daggers are also included in the zip and have been unchanged minus cropping for consistency.

Wow, so lovely, amazing job :-) I truly love it when remixing happens on this site. BTW I also imagined a broken sword, it seems to me like it was the intent to have a dagger that's basically a broken sword, but that's just my guess.
Thanks. Glad you liked it. Yea, it's definitely one of the strengths of this site. That and the strict content moderation. Can find more high quality art on other sites, but the licensing landmine just make them not worth it. Now I need to figure out what to do next. I've got a couple Cethiel adaptations that I never finished, might have to tackle one of those, not to mention a few more Kutejnikov's pieces are begging for 3d/remixes.
I like it, good job! Added a link to this page in the description of the original work.
You're both right, it was meant to be a broken sword made of a strange material (crystalline or something) I played Shadow of war, it had a broken sword as a dagger, that's where that idea came from https://shadowofwar.fandom.com/wiki/Acharn
Thanks. Glad to know my interpretation wasn't far from the mark. Lord of the Rings really like their broken swords don't they?
