This really reminds me of the player character from Ultima VIII.

Any plans to make him an animated model?

Well, as I understand the statue is supposed to be...still. But I will think about that. ;)

Would be nice to have a collection of blends where the knight has different poses, or different types of statues (wizard, dragon, etc.) The pedestal itself might even be useful.

I transformed your kneeling knight model into a minecraft statue and won 1st prize in a building competition :D Here are some snapshots of it: http://redd.it/n7xwz

Thanks a lot for your contribution, I really appreciate it.

This model is so cool! Thank you so much for making it available. I stole the helmet for a chess-like board game I'm working on called REX, for the "Philosopher King" piece. I can't link to the game directly because every time I do my comment gets flagged as spam, but if you search for "REX gamejolt" on Google, it's the first result.

(His body is this game model: http://opengameart.org/content/wizard-4)

I placed a link to this page in the games's description. Thanks again!
