I like the old record sound it has. Is it a filter of some sort or more complex to make it like that?

You're right about the drum break, but the rest of the horns more than make up for it! :)
Ah, glad you like it, and I should probably have both chosen a better drumkit and put a lot more time into composing the break - but for some reason I always rush it like crazy :P
haha, no worries, it still came out sounding great!
oddly enough I have a bad habit of always trying to use this crummy C64 drum kit I got for fruity loops.
as a matter of fact, I literally stopped in the middle of typing this and made some nasty awful track with it.
I'd share, but OGA doesn't take audio files in comments and it's definiltey not worthy of a submission! ;)
I can't help it, I just love the way that kit sounds even though objectively I know it is awful.

The same could be said for half of my songs, and half of the art here in general.
Composing with bad sounds can be very fun!
