When I was still part of ISW, I made a Platformer Hero generator with AbeTusk. This isn't just a collection of sprites, but a way of making customized heroes based on Hue, Saturation, and Value. It was a good learning experience for making cool weird palettes for characters. Please click through and see the work!

Hey, great work.

Any plans for a running animation?

This a pretty useful tool...for random mobs as much as for heroes.

Well done.

Not sure if you plan on developing it further, but, if you do, I'd suggest only linking shadow and base and keeping highlight separate.

Ah thanks for the input guys. Neither Abe nor I have touched this thing for a while, but maybe we'll look into it? The highlight thing is a good idea btw.
